If I right-click the desktop, or go thru the control panel, the Personalization controls are empty. Gone. Kaput.

Help!

You have to launch the Deskscapes Config now.

Default path: \Stardock\Object Desktop\DeskScapes\DeskscapesConfig.exe

Did you reboot?

I'm a 20-plus year veteran, and been tech support for over a decade; YES I rebooted, and yes, when I run DeskScapes Config I can get to change my Deskscapes wallpaper... but under the MAIN personalize it's all GONE. I can't change NORMAL wallpaper or window transparency/color or any of that other than by right-clicking and setting a pic as desktop wallpaper.  But the control panel itself is EMPTY. Nada there.   I *know* that is not right.

I need a fix.

What version of Deskscapes did you originally install?

on Sep 10, 2009

Well I tried to install before the beta came out, but it wouldn't let me.  So then the beta came out for windows 7 and I installed it. *shrug*

It's been purposely removed from the main personalization window in the beta and moved to the DeskScapes 3 configuration menu.

Click on the DeskScapes Icon in Impuse or the icon that was created in your start menu to run it.

Yes, but how then do I change the window and taskbar transparency and color settings and such?  I have no access to that now.

I'm running vista but from what you're saying, it's not the deskscapes part your talking about - it's the normal personalization window is blank?

you might need to post a screen shot
